I don't have time to comment this time, so I'll just post the link. It's about the "one world currency".
Their sources? here and here.
Seems to me that they haven't read the first article closely enough...it's basically an idea the Russian PM has that he's been trumpeting for a while. No actual word on how well it's recieved. Or how they'd implement it over the entire world.

Some Biblical dork or pope, or some other holy hemorrhoid once stated to the effect that: "The poor are always with us....." This is true, but can, with a little effort and generosity be remedied. However the uncertifiably insane but insane-never-the-less too, are always with us and there ain't a damn' thing we can do about it beyond ridiculing them into certifiability.
Rather an attractive, symbolic coin, isn't it?

Here's a radical opinion: I wouldn't mind if an international currency is created, so long as it's sound.
Meanwhile, these xazies (pronounced, "crazies") will always find something to go batshit paranoid about. It seems to work with a large number of Americans. After all, this is where even the Metric System was rejected because it was created by the Frogs. Teh xazy, like teh stupid, oh, how it burns!

Ain't gonna happen. It would take most of the confusion out of local & international finance, and eventually put today's versions of the temple money-changers out on the streets with begging cups, quite possibly with their sxumbag, political enablers beside them.
In short, it would make too much sense, and we can't have that, now can we?
