I just came from PZ's blog where he had it posted. I love it, and it makes a good point. What would the world be like if we had used Libertarianism or Anarcho-Capitalism (in order to completely avoid Commie-Nazism) as foundation for our civilisation? I believe it would not have lasted for very long. Sooner or later some power will start organising things... and then you have a government. And isn't that pretty much what happened, anyway?
