No alas, it's not FOX-alleged-news getting it's nose bloodied but a genuine Vulpes vulpes.

Neat, little video and one I've seen played out in the flesh. Cats can get very possessive when free food is involved and foxes aren't all that large or fierce.

No argument here....
That little video brings a twinge of nostalgia. When I lived in VT, my ex and I had a couple of horses  and four or five nondescript barn cats. There was a beautiful red fox that used to try and steal their food, but was only successful when there were no cats about.

More nostalgia; I've seen that many times, and the deeper the snow, the harder the fox hits it. From what I have seen, their success rate is relatively high; perhaps as much as one kill in three or four tries.
Here in NC, we have the grey color phase. They are not as striking as the reds up north, but just as lovely.
