Well, not really, but this certainly could be used as support for the asinine, YEC speculation that as the waters rose, the animals took to high ground, each going as far as it could before expiring. And thus was the ridgid order of the fossil record created.
The idea of the small prehistoric beasts on Hateg Island, Romania, was proposed 100 years ago by the colourful Baron Franz Nopcsa, whose family owned estates in the area.

He found that many dinosaur remains on Hateg were half the size of their close relatives in older rocks in England, Germany, and North America.

The team found that the Hateg Island dinosaurs were indeed dwarfs and not just young dinosaurs.

A favourite theme of evolutionary ecologists is whether there is an ''island rule'' - where large animals isolated on islands evolve to become smaller.

Three species of the Hateg dinosaurs - the plant-eating sauropod Magyarosaurus and the plant-eating ornithopods Telmatosaurus and Zalmoxes - are half the length of their nearest relatives elsewhere.

The team examined these three dinosaurs, each represented by many specimens. They found no evidence of any large bones such as they would expect to find in their normal-sized relatives.

More importantly, a close study of the bones confirmed that the dinosaurs had reached adulthood so they were not just underdeveloped youngsters.

Detailed studies by Martin Sander in Bonn and his students also show that the bone histology (the microscopic structure) is adult.

What next, I wonder; Tyrannosaurus pipsqueak?

I also wonder if AiG or some of the other creationist hives of hypocrisy will try to include that in their various and lame apologetics. Probably. Indeed, I look for it to show up at Ham's Hooch this coming Saturday in their News to Note, quite possibly stating that very claim.

I am eagerly looking forward to the discovery of a hitherto unnoticed isle of the Hawaiian or Azores group filled with the bones and stone signs (Fuk Lebs!) of pygmy Teabaggers and other midget ultraconservative primitives who coexisted with puppy sized velociraptors, sparrow sized pterodactyls, and certainly Tyrannosaurus Pagunus Brevis - all proof of a 6000 year-old Earth, Idiotic Design, and the origins of conservatism.

That way, we all can just get along, stop beating a dead black man, agree that the Earth is flat and so are conservative heads, that god created everything and she fucked up so bad he should be waterboarded, that there is no evolution and the proof is the intellectual pygmies that today have not changed one whit from their teabagging ancestry, and that solipcism is the only categorical imperative because your opinions are always right and there is nobody but you.

I just sees um as I calls um!
All I can say to that is there's some so blind they can not see.
anon-or should be!

Paleontology and carbon dating old bones by radioactive isotopes to determine how old they are, are more educated guess science that can't be proven by demonstration, another in a long list of other science theories that are part of our sacred belief culture that can't or won't be questioned, but as long as nobody gets hurt... qua sera.

Your ignorance is appalling!

The bones themselves are not dated; rather the strata they are found in is. And it is not done with the carbon dating process, but by radiometric dating.

As I said in another post, I know just enough science to question what works and what doesn't work to open further debate.

Surely you know by now that won't cut no ice in here. If you want to debate any sort of scientific topic, you must educate yourself; a process that never stops.

The quoted phrase is indicative of sheepish adherence to decades-old anti-scientific dogma. Cantbe can't be bothered to think for himself on this subject, and so cannot possibly debate the issue any better than Eliza could actually perform psychotherapy.

Now that's interesting. I'd heard of "chatterbots" but never Eliza. That'll give you an idea of how computer-smart i am!

I used Eliza on my Vic-20 back when I was I very geeky 13-year-old. I got "her" to agree to take her clothes off. Quite sad, but not quite as sad as the troll polluting these fora.

Well, there's one thing of benefit that cantbe and others of his persuasion do to our advantage: they bring forth such things as 540 myo information. For example,: Link 13

But having a conversation with ELIZA would be less frustrating than listening to cantbe323's regurgitation of creationist propaganda that has been debunked something like half-a-century ago.

He claims to be an engineer, but even a mediocre engineer would have respect for the scientific process. And stupid shit like this only confirms to me that he's a fake, not even an engineer.
