In his fatwa, Dr Atiya, the head of al-Azhar's Department of Hadith, said such teachings could equally apply to adults.

He said that if a woman fed a male colleague "directly from her breast" at least five times they would establish a family bond and thus be allowed to be alone together at work.

"Breast feeding an adult puts an end to the problem of the private meeting, and does not ban marriage," he ruled.

"A woman at work can take off the veil or reveal her hair in front of someone whom she breastfed."

So if a woman has only breastfed a man 4 times it would be immoral to reveal her hair to him.
Egypt's minister of religious affairs, Mahmoud Zaqzouq, has called for future fatwas to "be compatible with logic and human nature".
Good luck with that!

It is cases like this that cause me to consider religion as a special case of brain rot. There seems to be no limit to the stupidity that people come to when they are are afflicted with religion.

I'm also quite confused on what this particular fatwa would entail. In my department there's quite a lot of women working. Would that mean that I can only work with those who had a baby in the period I work here (there go the meetings with a few of my supervisors)? Would they actually have to lactate at that moment? Or can I just suck the breast of the collegues I need to have a working relationship with? I mean, I have some very attractive collegues, but it would be awkward to say the least.

Methinks the guy proposing this did so after watching a few corny office porn movies, not after reading the koran. Or perhaps he reads the koran while watching corny office porn movies.

What a pleasure it is to see this kind of dangerous twisted thinking flashed around the world for all to read. Think about it. When more of the world was way more illiterate and had no access to information like this, this would only be known by those closer to him and accepted without out much question or thought.

Good point but I see cases that theist are alone with this "brain rot" affliction. SS

Too bad......that would have been a great "Fatwa"

But yet this great intellect fails to answer how bearing her breast didn't violate some sort of modesty restriction.

What Egypt's minister of religious affairs wanted to say was "What the fuck? Did you even read the Qu'ran? What drugs are you guys doing?"
