In spite of the fact that we have a written constitution, law makers can't seem to figure out what it means or the courts can't. Congress has trouble passing laws that is agreed by the courts that do not conflict with the constitution. The Mexican stand off continues as another federal judge rules that the "Defense Of Marriage Act", DOMA is unconstitutional. The pendulum swings left but for how long? SS

There are only two types of religious people, the deceivers and the deceived. SS

Congress should not have passed or even created DOMA. Regulations on marriage historically have been a State issue. The Federal gov't overstepped its authority and the 10th amendment. I doubt using the "Supremecy Clause" as an arguement will hold.

Why does congress keep titling laws that do the exact opposite of what they say?
