They grows them conservatives faithful in Missouri; faithful, but dumb.
A Republican candidate in Missouri warned Monday that his opponent and the president are blocking the path to salvation.

In an interview on the Gina Loudon radio program, Ed Martin said that President Barack Obama and Rep. Russ Carnahan were keeping people from finding the Lord.

"We're great because we created a place and space where people can be free," said Martin. "And they can choose Christ, they can choose to be faithful. They can worship, and they find their way to the Lord."

"And that's one of the things that's most destructive about the growth of government. It's this taking away that freedom. The freedom -- the ultimate freedom, to find your salvation, to get your salvation," he continued.
Oh dear, oh dear; whatever shall we do?! Is no one thinking of the children?

Man, this is a stretch even for the teabaggers, although I'm a little surprised they haven't thought of it. Yet.

How in the Hell do they think they are being held back from finding their salvation? I don't get it. Everyone has the freedom to sit and worship all day if they want to. Since salvation is intangeble how can they be feeling held back?

I believe that either Ed Martin is stupid or he is a liar trying to take advantage of the stupid. But of course that is obvious so it could have been stupid for me to even mention.

A side note. My mother gets a lot of mail for this bogus cause or that. One of the latest was how the ACLU was out to kill religion. Long story short, I told her to give whatever money she had thought about giving to her church where she will know it will do more good, rather than sending it to these liars.
