Found this on another forum I frequent.
They also have links to Ham's whinging about the livescience article.
I figure that this counts as a social issue:

Aren't those people always whining and whinging about how they are under attack by "evolutionists"?
Well, this is how Lisle excuses it:

Guess what else that idiot said?
Lisle defended the anti-gay messages in the museum as part of the museum's goal to stay true to Biblical teachings.
"I don't think we would kick them out for [holding hands in the museum]," he said. But, he added, he could understand why gay guests "might be uncomfortable."
"I would say, don't shoot the messenger," Lisle said. |
Guess what I'd say to that? Hey! Don't THREATEN the people who go to your "museum"!
Typical: They want to be able to threaten and force their ways on other people, but when called on it: "hey, show some respect" or "why so hostile" or "we're just saying what the bible says"!
Does the bible say that your supposed to intimidate people just because they dress different and "aren't like you"?

| There is lots of video on the web from our visit to Ken Ham's Palace of Lies, but here's one of one of the rare incidents to mar the trip. This is the student who was kicked out; I was with him when he was pulled aside, and can verify that he was doing nothing but engaging in quiet conversation with a small group of us godless atheists when Mark Looy arbitrarily singled him out and took him aside to tell him stories about how unruly he had been. It was genuinely bizarre. As you can see in the clip made as we were standing outside, there was no shouting, no disruption, no rudeness at all going on — they simply plucked Derek out of the group and told him he was a bad boy. |
