On several news outlets, I've seen this story:

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson dropped a game-winning touchdown in the end zone Sunday in overtime against the Pittsburgh Steelers... After the game, Johnson's twitter account filed this faithy tweet:
I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!! AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO...
To be honest, this is one of the rare times where an athlete really publicly assigns some blame for athletic failure on ol' Yahweh, and I, for one, am happy to see it.

I doubt there will be much backlash or even commentary-- this guy plays for a low-profile team and he's not a big name himself. But still, it's interesting to see...

It's about damn time god gets some blame rather than just all of the glory!

Haole with heart, thats all I'll ever be. I'm not a part of the North Shore society. Stuck on the shoulder, that's where you'll find me. Digging for scraps with the kooks in line. -Offspring

Another future atheist!

The foundation of morality is to . . . give up pretending to believe that for which there is no evidence, and repeating unintelligible propositions about things beyond the possibliities of knowledge.
