One has to when discussion the paranormal wonder how such communication can take place between subjects (telepathy) and between object to subject etc. etc.
One has to wonder if such communications take place, first. There is no good evidence that telepathy occurs. Wondering about a mechanism is putting the cart before the horse.

Here is how a visionary put it.Steve Jobs

"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future," he told Stanford University graduates during a commencement speech in 2005. "You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life." Steve Jobs on the Destiny Matrix we are all caught up in.

You're quoting someone who directly contradicts your argument.
Basically, he says looking back gives you 20-20 vision, and when you want to move forward, you align yourself with the past and just move and hope for the best.
No magic or ESP.

I trust my intuition all the time. I just don't think there's any reason to think of "intuition" as anything but the (incomplete) aggregate of my experiences, knowledge, biases and misconceptions. I can describe intuition, metaphorically, using terms like "gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever," but I generally don't feel any need to invoke paranormal explanations for such a simple, obvious, and necessary cognitive tool.

But with telepathy, there are no dots to connect at all.

Jobs seems to have been talking about making the most of opportunities that come along, and trusting that where you think they might go will actually be where they take you. There is no analogy here to be made with anything paranormal. With telepathy, there is no "there," there. The visionaries in the field of ESP are only seeing illusions.

Bem’s psychic study cast into doubt as it fails replication attempts

Bem suggested that because the researchers are skeptical, they “influenced their participants not to display any clairvoyance”. That’s an example of “special pleading” and it’s a cop-out. It also suggests that ESP is non-scientifically testable. And, that just throws cold water on the whole idea, making Bem’s study also meaningless.

But, as noted by the researchers, Bem’s study prompted a closer look at more than just ESP. Journals were apt to public the initial studies but NOT the replications, even those that failed casting doubts on the original. That’s a critical aspect of science. Thankfully, with the help of the internet, a registry for replication was set up for this study which provides a documented source to supplement the original works. This has changed psychology, hopefully, all of science, for the better.

You'll find a link to the Live Science article at Doubtful News, which is the link that I provided.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.
