Michel de Nostredame, known as Nostradamus, was a French apothecary and self-styled prophet who lived in the first half of the 16th Century. A fraud and a conniving con-man, Nostradamus' vaguely worded Les Propheties ("The Prophecies") has been an attractive nuisance for gullible fools and crazy people ever since it was published in 1555.
Nostradamus.
One of Nostrdamus' biggest present-day fan-boys is the unintelligible and seemingly deranged Internet pest, Dennis Markuze, who (along with a thousand-odd sock-puppet names) calls himself David Mabus.

Bad as Nostrdamus was, he had at least one fine human feature: As the bubonic plague was sweeping Europe, Nostradamus nursed and cared for many of its victims, at great risk to his own life. (His own first wife and children apparently had died of the plague earlier.)
Dennis Markuze doesn't seem to share such a saving grace with his con-man hero. Unlike Nostradamus, Dennis Markuze seems to have done nothing for humanity. Except to be a pest.
Dennis, I know you are reading this. Please consider doing just one memorably heroic (but not violent!) good deed in your lifetime, to counter the irritation you have given so many people. Otherwise it is my prophecy that you will not be missed in the slightest when you are gone.
