I brought this up in another thread and rather than hijack that thread, I thought it should have it's own thread. So this is it.
To keep it simple to start, in 2007 HBO put out a movie looks into what is claimed to be going on with the electronic voting machines that determine the outcome of Americas elections. In it are reported discrepancies that are brought up which if true renders our elections useless for the voters and invaluable to the few pulling the strings. It would be most interesting to have any parts discussed, verified or disputed.
Available through Google videos, the HBO movie is called "Hacking Democracy".
Based on it's effect am I to assume that since it's release in 2007 that it has been shown to be a work of fiction? If it is not fiction, why has there no effect on the voting process that is so much in question? SS
