The codexes are neither new nor frauds. The group presenting what is in them is a fraud. The contents that they alledge is unsupported claptrap. They acknowledge that they do not have the texts. |

Just like they went crazy in the 70s because it was the "Age of Aquarius." Or how they went crazy in 2000 because it was the new millennium. Or how they are going crazy now because 2012 is approaching... I think you'll find, flanagan1000, that there is never a time when the crazies aren't going crazy over some impending event that will "change the world." You are new to this stuff, so it seems thrilling and exciting. But if you know anything about history, this stuff is old hat. It's always been going on and it always will go on and nothing will ever come of it.

Ok, if this translation is anything to go by, it gives us a little bit more information on what actually backs up his claims:

Shit, I'd be pretty excited too if real evidence were to come to light that ETs have been visiting Earth. Wouldn't that be awesome?

If there were independently verifiable evidence that those claims were true, I'd be pretty psyched about them, too.
But it's all just different manifestations of revelatory fantasies. These people are all swapping more mainstream religions for something slightly less run-of-the-mill, but still full of dogma and credulity. |
