Just read this from Bad Astronomer:

First, the antivax organization that is (Orwellianly) called the National Vaccine Information Center has paid for ads to run on in-flight Delta airline TVs. These ads give what can charitably be called misleading information about vaccines.

...

The second bit of news is so appalling it’s difficult to overstate. On Facebook, parents belonging to an antivax group were encouraging others to send postal mail to each containing items like lollipops infected with saliva containing chicken pox.

I am speechless.

I've been posting this on both my facebook page and our SFN facebook page. (Not the BA link. But still...) Now I have to wonder why you didn't see it?

Anyhow, people should go sign the petition .

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Kil, I looked through the "Health" folder to see if anyone else has posted recently on this topic and didn't see anything. The last post I see from you in the list is this. What have I missed? Maybe I missed it because it's been buried by all the stupidity from the latest trolls.

No. You were right to post it here. And I should have. But I did post it three times on facebook. So I was wondering why you didn't see those posts.

I have so many FB friends and am on a few groups on FB so if there have been posts on SFN's page they've been buried by a gazillion other notifications I get. I don't bother going to SFN's FB page on my own since I come here directly.
