That's not Hoffa. He's part of a two ton coffee table in Detroit.

That's Ambrose Bierce.

Folks, let's all keep our eyes open. I suspect that we'll be seeing this image elsewhere, eh? If so, it will be interesting to find out how it's captioned.

Mooner should I be seeing more than one fossil in this picture?

Depends on how your brain works, I suppose. I only see none. Plus two rocks, one just a rock, and the other simply an ordinary rock, an ordinary rock.

No. The landscape is definitely not Chihuahua. Nowhwere near the Mexican pyramids, which don't resemble those in the ...uh..picture. I prefer an Eygyptian premise. And Mooner's rocks are OK except for the obvious skeletal remains of a Roswell-type alien. Mooner is truly fucking with us. And MARS? Please. What does he think we are, gullible?

What I truly want to know is the actual nature of the space-kite in the foreground. The grey's do not employ light-wave propulsion; it is actually archaic in their culture, since they developed larvaorifice technology. What Mooner (who is is suffering from filapinitus) is actually doing is fucking with us. And damn well, I might add!

Well, I think I see dead hominids. And now live ones.

The more one stares at something like a blank landscape, the more one "sees." No telling what you may think you see next. It's all psychological, though. Lowell stared at Mars all too much, and look what happened to him.

Meh.

Maybe H. P. Lovecraft. The Elder Gods done got him and sent his filleted body to Mars.

The painter's model and the huge cat are helpful. The junk car appears to be a 1932 ford three window coupe but with a much later Ford grille (late 30's or early 40's). Interesting!

I'm really working on the tarantula which appears to be on the outside of a glass panel. The arrival on the space kite of the rather large wedge of swiss cheese with accompanying rat is encouraging.
The pit bull is appropriate, given the other elements. The scene is getting more Daliesque with the arrival of each new element.

I was hoping for an airship, but it looks more like a dewinged Dreamliner. It's a little late to be the mothership of Achmed the Alien - he's been dead too long, Jim. We will just have to wait until the full pastiche is assembled before acquiring enlightenment. Oh yes - it probably is a billfold on the lower extension of the space kite. Very helpful!

What area of the brain did your stroke affect, Mooner? Were you experimenting with a Tesla coil at the time?

Hopefully the Martians can hold off the Galactic Empire.

They have one of their killer space stations orbiting Saturn....waiting....waiting.....

The little part inside the bony case at the top of my neck. I don't miss it much.
