Having already had a sold-out concert in Jakarta, Indonesia canceled by authorities who bowed to Islamist pressure, Christians in the Philippines, not willing to appear less crazy than the Muslims, are now trying to halt Lady Gaga's concert in Manila.
The evangelical group, Biblemode Youth (video) is now trying to protect the Philippines from the perceived doom Gaga will bring upon this island nation. Rumors I've heard here in Baguio are that Biblemode has threatened to tear up the tickets of concertgoers. (I sort of doubt they actually intend to do so, as they must understand that the resulting slaughter of Christians would shock even the likes of Nero.)

Just don't care for her act, or want her satanic ass banned? I suspect the former, which would be an essentially inarguable matter of personal artistic taste.
Speaking personally, I've seen a couple of her songs and liked them. I especially like how she keeps shocking people in creative ways, all the while doing nothing really antisocial. |

She should do the show over satellite pay per view. Let Allah put out a Massive Coronal ejection if He disapproves. She'd make a tonne more money that way and still corrupt the youth. A win win! |

Yeah, sad. But it may ultimately serve to turn young people from Islam in Indonesia. After all, the concert was sold out, so someone likes stuff the Mullahs don't approve of.
I love your idea. Maybe try a satellite link from the Manila concert direct to Indonesia. Let 'em see what they're missing. |
