When The Secular Coalition for America had a picture taken of them meeting with the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, xians started to freak out because of the "evil" eyes that the atheists had. Telling them that it's the usual bloody camera flash did no good.

FreethoughtBlogs has an article about it:
http://freethoughtblogs.com/cuttlefish/2013/06/25/those-dead-eyed-soulless-atheist-types/

My quotes taken from the Blaze article itself.

Did you notice the group photograph? Obviously it’s an unedited shot, but they certainly have strange eyes. The camera doesn’t lie.

No indeed something does NOT look right in their eyes. Soulless…sort of like our Dear Leader and his “You can never spend too much of the citizens’ money” wife… If God does not inhabit; evil WILL enter. Indeed….

Look at their eyes. Reminiscent of Poltergeist!

I know people will just say it is because of the lighting, but take a look at each one of their eyes in the picture…..something doesn’t seem right. They all look evil.

As soon as the photo of them came onto my screen, I leaned back….. creepy, Creepy, CREEPY!

@Lucretius. I know we have access to science…matter of fact I have 2 degrees in the science field. However, there are just some things that science can’t explain. Despite your little comment about “minimal dose of science education”.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

Wow, it's bewildering reading the comments by the theist. They are positively convinced and selectively believe this picture is proof that Atheists have "black souls" and are of the devil, that it has nothing to do the nature of flash photography and ignore the reality, as mandated, that even if the pope himself or any other high positioned religious leader was in that picture their "black souls" would be just as visible. The hoops they happily jump through to maintain their beliefs is always stupefying at any angle. It boggles a thinking mind and it should all nonthinking minds also. At least those willing and able to view their beliefs from an unbiased point of inquire.

I know of a Christian Scientist couple who after she was diagnosed with breast cancer choose to reject her doctors advice that it should be aggressively pursued medically and chose to shun the doctors advice and maintain their religious belief that prayer and God will save her life. As her health failed they did go back to a doctored only to be told the cancer had spread to far and there was nothing that could be done. I guess you could say she prayed herself to death. I'm sure this could be considered to be made up by anyone not able to see reality clearly but it's a true story, from a couple here on St John. Thankfully for the husband, he now sees the cause of his wife's death being their reliance on prayer instead of standard medical care. A lesson his wife was not able to benefit from but he will in the future.

To use another example that cannot be brushed away with the wave of a hand, it is exactly the same kind of thinking that was involved with this baby's death and because the parents didn't learn a fucking thing the first time and being SO SURE their beliefs are SO TRUE, they suffered the consequences a second time two years latter. Believers might say God needed a couple more angles because they're with him now. How comforting for the parents that kind of talk must be,,, not.

Oh well theists! What you gonna' do? Whatever you do, don't give up the faith, that's for sure. As long as your faith is strong enough it's all good. Don't question your beliefs and whatever you do don't give up "your particular faith" that you have only by the shear accident of where on the planet you were born and most likely what your parents held. What a random way to know the truth. How blessed you all are around the world of every different faith to have lucked out knowing the correct religious beliefs as compared to all others who have the wrong religious beliefs. When your photographed you won't be showing a black soul inside like those evil Atheists have in that picture.

By the time people get cancer they are typically too old to qualify for Darwin Awards. It may seem cold and cynical, but I'm growing tired of feeling sorry for idiots. Especially when their faith risk affecting innocent bystanders.

I have to admit, based on a quick look, someone did a really crappy job of removing the "red eye" from the photo. It does look a bit creepy.

But it seems obvious to me that that's what it is. Just a bad touch up.

This is a joke, we all know real demonic atheists wear special contact lenses.

"...things I have neither seen nor experienced nor heard tell of from anybody else; things, what is more, that do not in fact exist and could not ever exist at all. So my readers must not believe a word I say." -Lucian on his book True History

Damn it! your let the cat out of the bag. Theists don't know that. Your not suppose to say that out loud. And even with the special contacts being true, satanist know the camera will give them away if they look directly into the camera. Ooops, I wasn't suppose to say that either, damn it.

The real threat to discovery is our powerful invisible "artifacts" which sometimes are exposed by photography.
