How did that "movement" work out? Sadly it was a Big Success for those who were targeted. I don't think it was a surprise to those targeted at all.
So! What do all those people who camped out in Manhattan (NYC) for weeks on end and others who demonstrated in cities across the country have to show for all their efforts? It appears that a lot of effort was wrongly focused. I think possibly because of the over all population failing to see the root of the problem. Anyone case to discuss this?

You mean, with Passion plays, and Comedia dell'Arte?
I got the impression that the Occupy movement quickly degenerated into just the idea of "occupying" something, just about anything. City parks became their main territories, annoying downtown workers and maybe crowding the homeless out of the parks. Somewhere along the way, they neglected to build broad coalitions among working people and the very poor, or to garner respect among a significant portion of the middle class. That failure doomed them, I think. |

And a good thing for them they didn't try more than they did. Probably because for all practical purposes, for demonstrators at least, we live in a police stated country wide. Maybe you didn't hear where you live but it was reported in the press how the police pepper sprayed and beat the hell out of them. |

I'm thinking Wall street was already occupied and still is by some very rich and that means very powerful people. They own the police and the police LOVE IT when they get to crack heads. Absofuckinglutely, there are tonnes of police brutality videos on youtube. It's no secrete for anyone willing to see it. |
