They're still doing it to her. On NPR yesterday, a reporter claimed (unchallenged) that Clinton was "the status-quo candidate." But conservatives have been raging for months about how Clinton was running on the most left-wing agenda in decades.

The truth, of course, is somewhere in-between. Clinton was running on a platform of incremental progress. She wasn't going for single-payer, she wanted to repair and improve the PPACA. She wasn't advocating that the state take over the schools, she was arguing for tuition subsidies. Et cetera.

Shame on you, NPR.

I think they meant "status quo" in the sense that her and all preceding presidents were actual politicians, not reality TV stars.
