I just saw this site, which presents the Bible via an, uh, interesting medium. It's tempting to think that there's a joke or something going on, but I thnk that the guy who does this all is serious. Somewhat. Well, not really-- but I don't think he's mocking the Bible. But perhaps a bit more reading will reveal more...

I think the guy is seriously writing children's books. Of course it's the Sunday school version.

The Garden of Eden is pretty cool. I wonder if I have enough flowers in my lego sets to make one.

Ummm, Sunday school version?

Edited to add:

And he points out contradictions in the Bible.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

I only went through a little of it -- the man's got a hell of a lot of work in that! :admiration:

I think he's dead serious, but doesn't let it get in the way of a slightly skewed sense of humor.

I'll get into it deeper a little later.

Oh, man! That site is great! The growing pile of foreskins next to Joshua was hilarious!

That satire site has been around for a number of years. Started out quite small. Been adding and adding all along....take an idea and run with it.

OK, after much more surfing of the home page and more of the Books, I withdraw my hasty and incorrect first impression.

It's great. I look forward to more reading.
