           	| The two asteroids named 106537 McCarthy & 106545 Colanduno has their names as a tribute to our friends, Swoopy and Derek of the Skepticality Podcast.
They are on official NASA pages and there's a wikipedia note on it too.

 Cool, huh?

| Wonderful, so long as neither asteroid becomes a "killer." That would make the naming a lot less of an honor. These aren't earth-orbit-crossing 'stoids, are they?

| Thank you, Dr. Mabuse! Clearly from that Java graphic, at least Colanduno is in a "safe" and honorable orbit.
Siberia wished: "Now, time to get ourselves an asteroid..."

Don't be so quick to ask for one, my dear. I've had asteroids, and they are most unpleasant.

Hey Mooner, did you name them?
