I haven't found the original of the OP, but I found this forum thread. Frank Eeken posted a long, rambling OT attack in a Dutch paranormalist forum, attacking nearly everything he could name, except himself -- he repeatedly quoted people who congratulate him. After that post, another person wrote:quote:

Eeken seems to be an international troll and spammer, always looking for a place to post his actively dangerous New Age nonsense. At least here, he didn't interrupt another thread. His translation for our forum is especially difficult to read, but Eeken to be trying to somehow use the death of Dutch TV celebrity Sylvia Millecam (who sought quack practioner Jomanda's psychic "help" when she was suffering from breast cancer) in defense of quackery. If I were trying to help the quacks, I'd want to talk about anything at all except for this horrible death-by-quackery incident!

| Well, this highlights one of the gray areas of our "forum spam" rule. It's obviously been copied-and-pasted from another forum - otherwise we wouldn't see the failed forum tags (our system has no [/color] tag) - but it's been translated. I'll have to give this a think or two. |

Looks like Eeken has left us a post then. On top of everything else, I'm trying to figure out if it was largely plagerized. Can you plagerize yourself? The article pre-dates the forum post.  |

May I make a suggestion FE6666? Based on what I see in the above post, your English is actually pretty darn good. On the other hand your original post here is close to unreadable. So it might be helpful to write something up in English.
I would also stick to one subject at a time when doing that.
Also, who owns the copyright on the article/essay?

I think that Jomanda should get in contact with James Randi. She might be the one to finally relieve him of his burden of a million dollars.

FE6666, I do not believe in psychics; none of them. Until and unless their 'abilities' can be supported by empirical evidence, they are all no more than another ripoff of the gullible, albeit a ripoff of ancient vintage.
Ancedotes are not empirical evidence.
So, did Jomanda take Randi up on his challenge?

I think, Filthy, that Mr. Eeken is saying that the James Randi Challenge is a "fraud and scam."
The implication is that Jomanda has not accepted the Challenge, and is just another faker who screams "fraud!" whenever their own lies are called to evidentiary account.
In truth, the Challenge tends to separate the deliberate, outright liars like Jomanda from those honest but deluded folks who really believe their own paranormal claims. The latter may actually try to get their claims proven, while the former (like Sylvia Browne or Jomanda), knowing the falsehood of their claims, smartly avoid any scientific investigation at all cost.

Yeah, I know. I'm just wondering how far our newest cut & paste artist will go in support of this fraud.
The sad part is that breast cancer is a real scourge, but yet there are those who would seek to take advantage of it.

Mythical vampires (a recent topic on another thread) have to prey on the innocent in order to survive. Bloodsucking parasites like Jomanda are unfortunately not mythical.
They prey upon the desperately ill with lies and false hopes, simply in order to enrich themselves.
The Jomandas of this world make vampires look like saints in comparison. They defame and avoid James Randi just as a vampire would curse and flee from Van Helsing, and for the same reason. And they always seem to be able to find willing, credulous fools like Mr. Eeken to defend them.
