"Perro de tokio" came to be around 1995, when I first had access to the internet. When I was signing-up for an email account, a bunch of names Iīve tried where already taken in hotmail, then I remembered some statistics from spanish language giving out "perro" (dog) and "tokio" as the two least used words. Hence I thought about "Perro de Tokio" as in "Tokio Dog" or "Dog of Tokio" and I liked it.

The first user name Iīve used though, was "Karmacoma" butn then I thought I didnīt want others associating me with "Massive Attack" or the specific type of music they produce, since I like so many and different styles and from all time periods I didnīt like the idea of someone could wrongly think I was one of those close-minded hard-core fans that will listen to just one thing and perceive anything else as rubbish.

Maybe I too paranoid... weeeeeell, itīs most likely!

Butn then again, I really liked "Perro de Tokio"!

Cheers

Hey-- I like Massive Attack. At least, I've found that Massive Attack makes good music for certain things...

As posted in the first one: When I started using online forums I was also into astrophotography and rebuilding a 1987 F-14 Tomcat pinball machine....hence Astropin (should be a capitol A). You can find me playing on the PS3 with the same handle.

Wonder what it would be if I was just getting started today? I like to combine hobbies to come with a name. I'm a bit of a hobby freak and am constantly finding new one's. My newest is "Bullseye" shooting. This is handgun target shooting (usually with a .22 and a .45ACP), standing and using only one hand. Targets are 50 yards and 25 yards. The 50 yard target is shot slow fire...you get 10 minutes to get of 10 rounds, and the bullseye is approximatley 3.5" across. 25 yard targets are shot "timed fire" 5 shots in 20 seconds (repeat) and then "rapid fire" 5 shots in 10 seconds (repeat) for a possible 300 score. It's a real challenge...almost as hard as golf (which I also enjoy). Hmmm.....maybe Bullputter? or Eagleeye? I also enjoy Home Theater, playing online with the PS3, Boating with the family and playing Texas Hold'em.

I would rather face a cold reality than delude myself with comforting fantasies.
