I bet I could throw a bullet like that 30 yards, maybe a little more. And within that range, I'm pretty sure I could hit a house. So, busted, plausible, or confirmed? I say plausible.

Sorry, Filthy. It worked earlier, but no longer. Looks like someone figured out that something was wrong with the Agence France Presse story, and pulled it.

I note from the photo that those rounds held by the lady were definatly not fired at her house nor anyone elses. They are unfired cartridges. The cases look like they are brass. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that many if not most military cartridges today are made of coated steel. Those are probably brass-washed steel, although they look a little bright for that. It's probably just the photo, of course.
I'm certain that they are 7.62-39 mm (.30 calibre Russian), the fuel for the AK-47.
