I read about this skeptic comic, Cectic, on Randi's site.

Don't we wish:

Really nice:

The one Randi linked to:

The comic only started last May, so getting caught up is a breeze.

I read the whole list of cartoons there yesterday, after catching the link from Randi. Great stuff. Damn! I wish I'd thought of some of those!

Anyone else think that the Erlenmeyer flask looks like the Kool-Aid man? Or perhaps it's what the cartoonist was going for.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

Definitely a Koo-Aid reference, especially as his catch phrase is "Oh, yeah!"

I'm not sure I get why the cartoonist wants to correlate science with Koolaid, especially given the slang meaning of "drank the Koolaid".

If you're Sylvia Browne, that's the sort of nightmare you'd have. She is the one doing the correlating.
