A few years ago I went on a weekend visit to the Heinsa Mountain Temple in South Korea and learned about the mainstream sect of Buddhism in that country. The first thing that happened when we got there was that we were asked to dress in the grey pants and shirts that all the monks wore. This is not itself a religious ritual, opposed to, say, being asked to pray to a supreme deity or take holy communion. This is simply learning about one cultural aspect of how the monks live by experiencing it.

I can't believe you fell for that.

Hey, that link didn't lead to any semi naked chicks in robes. Just a bunch of sculptures of fully dressed chicks with swords.

Edited to add: okay, maybe not a sword. What is that thing, a staff? pole? Is she going to start doing a pole dance?

Yeah I know. I chickened out on putting up any real flesh links. The point really was the joke URL anyway. Even if it only got Mab, I'm happy with that.

Nice, Marf. It is indeed a staff.

Considering it (the model) is a prop for an RPG, where imagination is the key, and a large part of the RPG demographic is guys, I'd say a pole dance is far from out of the question.
