This seems to basically be something a lot of people were already doing, now formalized on the Internet. I like it.

The 12 Days of Secular Celebrations

Instead of 12 Days of Christmas, we have 12 days of secular celebrations (With a little overlapping):

* Day 1 - December 21 - Solstice Eve
* Day 2 - December 22 - Solstice
* Day 2 - December 22 - HumanLight Eve
* Day 3 - December 23 - HumanLight
* Day 4 - December 24 - Krismas Eve
* Day 5 - December 25 - Krismas
* Day 5 - December 25 - Crispness
* Day 6-12 - December 26-January 1 - Kwanzaa
* Day 11 - December 31 - New Years Eve
* Day 12 - January 1 - New Years Day

Note: Since Solstice moves, sometimes Day 1 will be Solstice, and other times it will be Solstice Eve :-)

Sorry, we celebrate Festivus on the 25th.

Christmas is really just a hi-jack of the old pagan solstice celebration anyway.

I like it, thanks, Marf! Now I don't have to feel ever-so-slightly hypocritical when verbally wishing someone a "Merry Krismas," and I need not upset them in the process. All the good stuff in Christmas is in Krismas, devoid of that horrible, boring little demigod myth.

They need something to replace the Three Kings Day ritual performed by our Christian Catholic/Orthodox cousins. That would complete the list, methinks.
