My problem? I have to work during the times that this Silvestru character is supposed to speak in Edmonton and St. Albert, Alberta.
Damnit! Well, on the very off chance if I can get a day off during one of those engagements of his, does anyone have any idea of what kinds of questions to ask?
All I can think of is some of the questions that Glen Morton is always asking over on Theology Web. If I were able to ask one of those questions, I'd try to point out that it's a xian who brought it up, and I'd mention his posting on Theology Web. I'd say that this Silvestru guy would be able to sign up and answer said questions at his leisure there. Maybe a few audience members would later check out the Theology Web site and see the YECs get kicked there. If Silvestru were to show up and have his a$$ handed to him, all the better.

Well, the guy's a PhD geologist specializing in speleology. His bag is, evidently, the Noachan Flood and the researching/proving thereof.
I think I'd ask him about how, exactly, did the 'kinds,' travel from the Ararat region to their locations today and how they managed to diversity into the existing species of today, all in a mere 4,000 & change years.
Given the chance, I also might ask where all the water went when it went away, and how come the Egyptians & the Chinese have no record of such an event.
Oh, and how come there are no human remains, indeed no modern mammals at all, found in strata with dinosaur fossils.
I'm sure that he's answered all of these before, but it'll be interesting to see his take on it. And fun to pick them apart when you post them here.
