This is fascinating stuff! Results of a 2006 Harris Poll on the last fifteen years favorite TV personalities.

Both entertainment, news, and "talking heads" are included.

Bill O'Reilly's ratings and audience really interested me. Gigantic audience among old fuckers that are too senile to think anymore, Republican; naturally! Everyone over 70 should be shot! There was a movie once with that theme, at the time I thought it was a good idea.....!

The cited poll only goes up to two years ago. I noticed O'Reilly is rated (in 2004) tops only among conservatives, but not among the 65+ crowd, who liked Oprah best.

So maybe we old folks may get a reprieve.

The results your link goes to are from a Feb2006 poll.

Its still interesting though.

Oh, here are the results for 2007:

http://www.harrisinteractive.com/harris_poll/index.asp?PID=858

Bill O'Reilly ties with Oprah among the 62+ crowd, O'Reilly rules among Republicans. Ellen DeGeneres is top TV personality overall, finally having pushed Oprah to number two.

Thanks, Mooner! I thought I had the current poll, I shelved it and lost it, and in going back to find it I picked up the earlier poll. Didn't bother to read what I posted! There's perfectionism for you!

CRAFT syndrome is slowly becoming CRAFTOWIJD (Can't remember a fucking thing or what I just did!)

Oh, Moon, it's Ellen not Helen, not that it makes a damn bit of difference!

Fixed that "Hellen" misspelling, thanks.

I think its pretty damn funny that Stephen Colbert (who's show is a deliberate parody of Orielly) is ahead of Oreilly. Thats awesome.

You may be thinking about "Logan's Run" with Michael York. Farrah Faucet was also in it. Unfortunately the cutoff was 30 and there was no sanctuary.
