Let's see if there are any others, in various branches of the service. I don't buy the idea that an admiral would resign over a mere misimpression by the media.

I've been telling people for many months not to worry about a war with Iran unless general officers begin resigning in numbers. Let's hope this isn't the canary in the mine dying. If Bush invades Iran, the USA (among many others) is screwed.

We'll have to see who gets the job. Judging from this month's Esquire article, if its a Bush/Cheney "yes man", we have a lot to worry about.
