YO: Bush, doing his 'best' to bring up his numbers with Catholics. He's giving the Pope a 21-gun salute this week---whether the old dude wants it or not, by God. Bring on the Pontiff! And Pax, Pope!

And....an observation on comments on 'Press the Meat' today with Little Timmy Russert:

Mary Matilan---the Nurse Rachett in the life of James Carvill---said some things today that put her in the same alternate universe most Bush neocons dwell:

1: "An Obama/Clinton (or visa-versa) ticket is what all the Republicans are really wanting. It would be such an easy win for
the GOP." (And bears don't deficate in the woods, either.)

2: "Dick Cheney has completely transformed the office of the Vice Presidency." (I think the verb 'transformed' doesn't quite cover what Mr. Cheney had done TO that office. What he has done to it is what the Vice President suggested that a Senator from Vermont do to himself on the floor of the Senate.)

3. "Everyone is getting tired of all this Bush bashing." (Yes, and nobody has sex anymore because it doesn't feel good.)

Orwellingly Yurz Sez: Mary may want to see if she can get a job hacking outlandish political jokes for Jon Stewart or Steven Colbert after the Bushies blow D.C.

OY!

Yurz, do you believe in reencarnation? If not, perhaps we should consider it....

Edit: Well, after all, the Pope is a head of state, of sorts, and as such he rates the salute. I suppose. I do hope they muffle the guns somehow -- ol' Benny doesn't look like he can take a lot boom, smoke & concussion.

Filthy.....

I suppose. I do hope they muffle the guns somehow

My hope would be that they use live ammunition and zero all 21 in on the Po.....sorry, my imagination is wandering again. What I meant to say was God Bless America, long Live the Bush Administration, Hail Mary Motherfuc Mother of God, and Sean Hannity is a Great American! Oh, and support the Patriot Act!
