You're offended by omnivores? Or just those that enjoy a good slab of back ribs from time to time? If you want to go vegetarian for whatever reason, more power to you. I enjoy a nicely grilled side of veggies, and eat more salad than anything else for lunch. But many of us also love a good piece of steak, lamb, venison, or buffalo. I've also enjoyed alligator once (tastes like chicken). I don't feel bad about eating another animal no more than I'd feel bad for the broccoli.

I'm all for People Eating Tasty Animals.

I gotta agree that PETA is a nutty bunch of fruits. I remember a piece on the local news where some PETAs were dressing up in cow & pig costumes and harassing little kids saying stuff like "I'm your friend, Don't eat me!"

and as a former hunter, I'll add squirrel, quail, deer, antelope, and once instance of Snapping Turtle Soup to the above list.

I like animals, and don't want any critter to suffer, but life feeds on life.

If I was the Supreme Being, I wouldn't muck about with butterflies and dandelions, I'd start with lasers, eight o'clock, Day One!
