Well; it seems like you are on your way to recovery, that is the most important, even if the way is painful enough.
Hang in there; you have my most sincere wishes.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
Carl Sagan - 1996

Just came back from seeing the doc. I now get to sit down for 5 minutes out of every hour. Two days of that, then I get to do ten an hour. Two days of that and I am up to 15, etc...

How that works out for right now is that I must still be in bed most of the time if I am not standing. Sigh.

Anyhow, the doc said everything looks good and I am progressing nicely. And I don't have to wear the damned stockings anymore. So at least my legs are happy.

That's good news!

I learned from the hip surgery recovery that even if you feel better, ahead of the curve, you should still follow the recovery plan. Slavishly, and not get ahead of your workout or you'll risk having a setback.

It's great that you are doing so well, Kil. How's your stability on your feet? Are the nerve signals better now? (I am right to imagine that you're allowed to, and are capable of, walking, right?)

lI am encouraged to walk. And I am taking a longish walk at least once a day. My leg is still weak, but might be getting better, it's hard to tell.

Anyhow, until I get the Macbook back, I am stuck with writing posts standing up mostly. OH well...
