Get a load of what this brainless buffoon said. See if you can spot the "mistake" in his reasoning. It's too damned obvious to even make fun of.

"The Obama recession is in full swing, ladies and gentlemen," Limbaugh told his radio audience of 15 million to 20 million on Thursday. "Stocks are dying, which is a precursor of things to come. This is an Obama recession. Might turn into a depression."

Apparently the tanking of the real estate market, record losses in the auto industry, and massive failures in the banking and investment industry have very little to do with our problems. The economic system is collapsing, Rush wants us to know, because it anticipates the tax increases Obama has pledged on capital gains and for the highest income earners.

But maybe that shouldn't be so surprising, because radio's Biggest Big Man also assures us that the Democrat welcomes "economic chaos" because it gives him "greater opportunity for expanded government." In a time when the nation calls out for cool leadership and rational discussion, Limbaugh stirs the caldron, a tendency he proved in a particularly grotesque way last week when he accused Obama's party of plotting a government takeover of 401(k) retirement plans

EDIT: Fixed link.

Also, here's it from Rush's own site.

Attaboy, Rush! You & Coulter & the rest of the right-wing motor-mouths just keep a'diggin' that hole. When it gets deep enough, we'll cave it in on you.

Incidently, the link isn't working for Rush. Instead it shows a Gitmo poll. So why not PZ it?

So, nearly two months before Obama is even inaugurated, Rush Swinebog is blaming a recession that began many weeks ago, and was rooted in the Bush/McCain/GOP deregulation mess, on a guy who hasn't even sat down in the seat behind the big Desk in th Oval Office?

Oh! I see: Rush is blaming Obama for scaring investors into creating a recession (something Rush himself, with his carefully restrained rhetoric, would never consider doing!):

From time to time, there's a few dipsticks at work that quote Flush. My comment to them was "Remember, he's an entertainer -- using him as a news source is the same as using Dave Letterman as a news source". Shuts them up in a hurry. Works every time.

Within a year or two, I believe the Obama administration will have accomplished some notable progress in steering the ship of state back on to a sensible and successful course. As this becomes more and more evident, the rancid ravings of Limbaugh will begin to appear utterly irrelevant to a very large majority of the electorate and his audience will shrink to the small minority of crazies that constitute the radical right wingnuts.

Clear Channel's advertising revenues will drop and Limbaugh and the Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly, etc. wannabes will incresingly diminish in influencing any but the terminally politically insane.

I think that Rush and his ilk's day has come and gone!

Yup. Indeed, I have it in my video library. Good flick; thanks for reminding me. I think I'll watch it again soon.

Yep. I'd like to see Limbaugh reduced to a strip character in conservative rags and mags where his only contribution are grawlixes. A contribution just as significant as his current radio show.

And we can be certain of that because communism has triumphed at every opportunity it was attempted. Very soon, with the help of the Beloved Leader barry hussein soetoro, the USA will be as successful as Cuba.

Oh I wish...they will always find an audience with the disenfranchised that refuse to think.

I really do wish it only takes a few years to make the government sensible and sane, but I am afraid the damage done to the publics perception of the government may not be fully reversible.
