How to get a specific post's URL, crash course:

If you want to hyperlink to a specific post in the forum, locate this post and look at the top of it. Between the posting date and the icons there's a link labelled [Permalink]

If you click it, the link directly to whichever post you clicked on will wind up in your browser's address bar. Cut-and-paste the whole thing into URL tags, and you're done.

For example, if you click this post's Permalink, you'll find the following in your browser's address bar:
http://www.skepticfriends.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10852#157096
Cut-and-paste the whole thing into a URL...

[url="http://www.skepticfriends.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10852#157096"]related post[/url]
...and it will result in

related post

There you are... Soon you'll be linking to posts like a forum pro.
