Been here before & we're goin' again
!
Editor's note: The following email was sent to us by P.L. from Northern Ireland in regards to the article Problematic Apologetics. Because of the length of this feedback, our typical format (i.e., posting the feedback in its entirety first) is not feasible. Instead, we begin with the feedback and response together.
And off we go, heigh-ho!

From the AIG twit:

God's Word is the foundation of intellectual rigor.

'Nuff said.

The foundation of morality is to . . . give up pretending to believe that for which there is no evidence, and repeating unintelligible propositions about things beyond the possibliities of knowledge.

This all may as well be an argument between Vatican chefs about the precise recipe for manna from heaven. Or a dispute by priests over the names, ranks, and serial numbers of the angels who danced upon that infamous head of a pin.

It's all a great, mutually masturbatory effort exerted upon the insignificant details of a medieval marketing forgery and a myth that was written many years after the alleged events of the New Testament. It is a tale retold by credulous idiots, signifying nothing.

Don't hold back, Mooner, tell us how you really feel.

I think the Ham-sters are just pissed that the catholics beat them to the holy relics scam by a few centuries. Can you imagine the crap that charlatan would try to pass off as authentic silverware from the last supper or actual thorns from the J-man's crown?

Doesn't that phrase have a different connotation for a person of your esteemed age?

Ignorance is preferable to error; and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing, than he who believes what is wrong.

I do not resemble that generalization. Though, if I crash my motorscooter, I may.
