And the title was just a small part of the brutalitly this guy is happy to brag about. This guy's nothing but a thug. That his entire congregation didn't throw their shoes at him is a disgrace as human beings to everyone in the pews. (Hat tip to Dump Bachmann.)

| Religion folder? From the title I had assumed this would be Moonscape News. This is disgusting. If this had happened to my Mother it would have motivated me to drive the 10 hours to her church. I don't believe I would have calmed down much during the drive either. |

I never encountered anything like this in any church I have been to. My dad preached in a lot of different churches and the thing I always encountered was that if you didn't grow up in the church, or at least in the area, they really didn't want much to do with you.

I have often had these thoughts but I usually associated them with the dislike or outright hatred christians have for anything or anyone who disagreed with their beliefs. I guess the violence isn't limited to extremist groups who shoot doctors or firebomb abortion clinics.
A very sad testimony for today's churches. I'm sure my dad would think so too.
