And if major Democrats had promoted the same thing during the Bush years, the GOP would have been screaming "treason" and calling for a crackdown against Communists.

It's long past time to at least point out the sedition of this ignorant fascistic Palin, Fox and the drooling Teabaggers.

100K'll buy a lot of loyality amongst those with few morals and no ethetics, right up to the point where someone else makes a better offer. The teabaggers are owned by the Republicans in more than one sense of the word. Give it a little more time, and t'will be t'other way 'round.

Did anyone notice the racist opening of the teabagger convention? A US politician calling for the return of literacy tests at the polls.

Seriously, you can't make this shit up.

Please note the crowd cheering him when he says it.

And Sarah Palin just loves these guys!

Yeah, I found out about that a bit late. It's pure return-to-Jim-Crow racism. Anyone who was a decent human being deserving to breathe air should have walked out in disgust as soon as the Tancredo said that.

Edited to add: To my amazement, upon making a Wiki check, I find Tom Tancredo (R-KKK) is was actually a US Congressman and was a 2008 GOP candidate for their presidential nomination. I think I'd known, but forgotten that.
