I was raised very, very Christian. So Christian, in fact, my family wouldn’t even identify their denomination — which is to say, they were in the anti-denomination denomination. They preferred the term “nondenominational.”

I like the Rapture prank. It's nice to be reminded that at least some fundy Christians have a good sense of humor. Christwire on the other hand was doing a great service by collecting all that blasphemous humor all in one place, though I suppose they weren't meaning it as a service to freethinkers.
(But yes, you're right, Filthy, that prank was mean-spirited. I laughed mainly because I hold all believers in the rapture in such contempt. It's a personal weakness of mine.) |
