On-and-off heavy showers continue to pelt Baguio. We are getting 30 to 60 kph winds, plus some greater gusts.

If this continues, we will have deadly landslides, especially on some of Baguio's and La Trinidad's steepest and most crowded hillsides, and further flooding in the lowlands on the west coast.
Yikes!!!

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

The "hanging in" is easy. I didn't even have to bathe for days. As for the sig quote, I love it, too. I discovered it just two days ago. Dogs, cats, god, and The Hitch. Who could want more?

Yeah. Here it is, Thursday afternoon, and the typhoon that hit Baguio on Monday is still hitting us with storm bands, lightning, thunder, and deluge. The up side is, there is little wind now, there are now rainless periods, and I've even seen two brief patches of sunlight, far off in the distance. Also, City water is now flowing again. Our tanks were probably almost dry. For some reason, they'd shut off the water supply during the storm. Bim says it was because the water would have been too brown.
