OK if it sounded like a claim, I withdraw it. I actually agree it's a rock. To me the interesting thing here is how some scientist decided it's a bad place for an Ancient Alien to put an artifact. For all he knows it could be a landslide monitoring station. Sometimes you can be correct for the wrong reasons.

Landslides can safely be measured as seismic waves from several kilometers away. Why build anything where the depth of the scree is even a question.

You have it all wrong, it's a barrier they are testing for protection against landslides.
