Poor kid, assuming the reporting is accurate. I'm interested in knowing the parents motivation, religious or just plain step-son resentment.

The daughters weren't treated very well, either, and the wife never left the house alone.

Well, one can only hope he can sue them so harshly he can then give the Cu[CENSORED--Ed.]ts $200 each and an address to a local homeless shelter.

No doubt there are people that would say that they shouldn't go to jail because that would put the two girls into foster care and break up their happy family. I say horse feathers. They deserve to go to court and if found guilty go to jail and serve the same sentences. Poor kids indeed.

Nope. Believe it or not, this is considered a more serious crime than the people who didn't take their kid to get medical treatment because they thought prayer was the thing. If found guilty, they are looking at serious jail time, and the kids WILL be removed. And I doubt anyone will be complaining about it. This is not a happy family situation.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Since both parents are in jail without bond, the daughters are in protective custody already.
