It would seem to be the case with Dan the "debunker" in his October 3, 2012 12:57 PM comment. (The link may not work).

I straighten him out right afterwards.

Note the name of his post: How to...The Bible Explained In 11 Minutes.

>From: enuffenuff@fastmail.fm
(excerpt follows):
> I'm looking to teach these two bastards a lesson they'll never forget.
> Personal visit by mates of mine. No violence, just a wee little chat.

> **** has also committed more crimes than you can count with his

> Good luck with that fuckwit. And Reynold, fucking run, and don't stop.
> Disappear would be best as it was you who dared to attack me on my
> illness knowing nothing of the cause. You disgust me and you are top of
> the list boy. Again, no violence. Just regular reminders of who's there

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

Is it at all unusual or rare for a theist quoting from the Bible to conspicuously ignore other Bible verses that state the complete opposite? Certainly not from my experience, it's unavoidable and occurs every time. The fictional Forrest Gump might put it, "delude is as deluded does".

It's been said the truth can set you free, people who want to be servants or willing slaves to their particular God have no need for a reality based truth so they will deny it every time. They have to, it's required to maintain their delusion that their God is the one true God to serve and all the others are simply fabricated false deities thus not real. Even though they cannot articulate or demonstrate a single difference from the numerous fictional Deities and their own God. It's what all theists do, they have to with the position their in.

Keep up the good work Iggy. I know your not out to change Danny's beliefs but to point out what he ignores to those who might not be willing to do the same. Good job.

There are only two types of religious people, the deceivers and the deceived. SS

I find the most ignorant of the contents, history, and scholarship of the biblical texts are those who claim it is the most important part of their lives.

Incidentally, that site explodes Blue [Stop that!--Ed.] on the WOT ratings.
