There are is a lot of misinformation about cosmology running around on the web. One of my favorite sites for properly studying cosmology, written by Dr. Ned Wright (UCLA department head), is his Cosmology Tutorial which includes a lot of extra sections, discussing some of the foolish ideas in cosmology. I strongly advise skeptics to read it.
