Bush will be verified as the anti-christ.
Jesus will return and will force Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell to have a tether match that is 'fight to the death'.
FOX will take over Nickelodean and Sponge Bob Square Pants will become the next consevative talk show host.
I predict that these events have exactly the same chance of happening as Storms predictions about the proof of ghosts.

Tony Blair will leave office.
The communist Party, Iraq's oldest, political party, will play a major role in the up-coming 'election.' Bush will be pissed.
There will be yet more clear-cut logging in the national forests.
There will be yet more YEC dreck sold at our national parks, such as the book currenyly peddled at the Grand Canyon.
There will be more fossils of feathered theropod species found in China. The YEC cults will claim that they are mere birds.
The Rev. Fred Phelps will come out of the closet.
Kent Hovind, beyond all reason and rationality, will continue to claim 700+ speaking engagements per year. FTL and/or time travel, anyone? 
Pat Robertson will try to pray away another hurricane on his TV show. His success rate will remain the same. Zilch.
Robert Novack will not be indited for outing a CIA undercover opperative. There ain't no justice.

Iraq will have it's elections right on schedule on Jan 30th. An election in which the Shiite majority will elect a government loyal to Iran.
The Kurds will declare themselves an independent state, and the Sunnis will have a nice open civil war which the US will be expected to "deal" with.
The US will continue to ignore the situation in the Congo, many many more will die.
Bush will be exalted by the morons who elected him (with the help of the conservative talk media) as a "great" man. (this may not count, as I think they are already doing it)

I predict that most if not all of the 20 judgicial nonimations Bush is re-capping will fail, unless Frist manages to change the filibuster rules. I don't see that happening.
I predict that the religious whacko Scalia will become Chief Justice, replacing Renquist, but not gold-striping his robe like an egotistical idiot because it's already been done.
I predict that Ashcroft will be nominated to the SC, but the nomination will fail in a cloud of Borking.
There is a big prediction waiting to be made. Who will stick his neck out a country mile and fire that cannon?
What, are you waiting on me? Not yet... I don't have quite enough insite yet, but I can almost see it on the far and hazy horizon.

This is a good thread. If nothing else, it demonstrates how full of shit we all are.
The anthrax maniac, or a copycat, will become active again, killing three or four people. He will not be caught, at least not in '05.
There will be an attempted terrorist bombing at the Popes funeral.
Can't make the Big One because I think it's a little farther down the road than '05, although not much.
