Hello all,

I'm working on an article about a possible Lisa Nowak/NASA/Vatican conspiracy, and I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything. If so, I'd love the info.

FYI, the article is being written for a site that reports on the way-out world of conspiracy theories (UFOs, NESARA, chemtrails, reptoids, etc.) and the people who buy into them. It's a follow-up to this article:

http://popularcrackpot.com/wp/2007/04/17/is-a-new-nasa-conspiracy-theory-brewing/

Thanks all.

Hi JPC, and welcome to SFN. I certainly hadn't heard this story before, but the article you linked does a nice job or subtly suggesting that it's utter lunacy. It's interesting to see how such a theory gets cooked up, though.

You'll have to let us know how your article comes along!

Thanks for the welcome and the kind words

I'll definately post when the follow up article is online. And if I may be shameless for a minute (and I am shameless), I'd like to plug our website: http://popularcrackpot.com

The site was started to support our podcast, wherein we discuss people who believe in aliens, reptoids, chemtrails, etc.

Thanks again for the kind remarks.

-Jason

Do please plug your site. How long have you all be in the business of investigating crackpot claims? And again, I'm curious to hear more about this fringe conspiracy. Whenever the Vatican is concerned, you know it's going to be a good one!

Why thank you...we do love to plug

While researching a screenplay that dealt with some paranormal elements, my co-host and I began to run across a few fringe websites. The more we looked into them, the more fascinated we became. Could people really believe in reptoids? Could people really think that the government was conspiring with airlines to spray deadly chemicals on them?

After a while, we decided that people need to know about the sheer volume of persons who are believers (and in many cases victims) of these bits of crackpottery (as we call it).

So Popular Crackpot (http://popularcrackpot.com) was born. We've already covered chemtrails, reptoids, and NESARA (for those of you who know what that is). Upcoming stories will be on the Aztec Doom Calendar, orgone, the Illuminati, and much more.

As for Mrs. Nowak, we've already seen her linked to a fantastic conspiracy by the Vatican to infiltrate the space program. (Apparently they're trying to get ahead of the game before the aliens land in a few years). We expect the story to get far more complex as the trial goes on.

So please check us out. We want everyone to know that all email feedback is welcome (that may be a dangerous thing to say...)

I've heard that the pope also wears diapers.

Dave,

Thanks very much for the inclusion in the directory.

We've just posted a new piece dealing with the Virginia Tech massacre (or rather with the crackpot reaction to it).

I'll post that in another topic under this category.

Thanks,
Jason

Welcome to SFN, Jason!

I took a brief look at your site and liked the article you did on the, for lack of a better term: "Cho Conspiricy." In all truth, I hadn't considered that the cracked pots would try and come up with one -- a skeptical failing on my part -- I shoulda seen it coming.

I'm looking forward to more, as reported by you, on the colorful imaginings of the spaced-out fringe.

I wonder if ergo123 and bigbrain are paying attention. Hey verlch....! Oh, never mind.
