I've said it before, and I'll say it again: You people need to enable longer titles! I had a real hummer for this one, but nope!

Anyway, on the actual topic:
The Disco Institute is mad at Bill O'Reilly for him saying that ID is "creationism".

You know, one would think after the Dover Trial which went over their own "Wedge Document", and the Foundation for Thought and Ethics stuff that Forrest went over in the Dover trial, that those people would finally give up the ghost on that one.

The Pandas Thumb talks about this, too.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

They can't stop, the_ignored. Pushing Creationism while denying God is their one trick. Stealth Creationism's their only invention and claim to fame.

There is no fall-back position to retreat to.

If they drop that, they are left only as a group of Creationists of various sects, divided into Old Earth and New Earth outlooks. Sure, the jig was essentially up with the revelation of the Wedge Document, and Dover put them out of our misery. Few people are stupid enough to believe the DI's doing anything but throwing good money after bad.

But: One guy, Howard Ahmanson, is dumb enough to think people will still buy this malarkey. And as long as Ahmanson keeps paying millions for the upkeep of these clowns, they will let him call the tunes. Scientists may hate the DI, and most YECs do, but money keeps them pointlessly operating. Stupidly wasted money.
