Why is that inaccurate?
Well, I'd say them being caucasian is inaccurate because both the human fossil and DNA evidence reveals the birthplace of Humanity to be in Africa, and caucasian traits evolved later in Europe after early humans spread out all over the "old world. But since literal Biblical Creationists toss out all of evolution and much of science right from the get-go, I'd say that this particular "inaccuracy" is the least of their problems.

Actually, I figured Adam probably looked like this (minus the wrist watch):

Given the large number of blatent contradictions in the Biblical creation story, that there is recorded evidence of Jewish rabbis and scholars as early as the first century saying that it is naive mistake to interpret the Adam and Eve story literally, and that literal interpretations in Christianity took off with the dawn of Protestantism (every day, uneducated people reading and interpreting versions of the Bible translated into their native language - gee, think that's going to open some flood gates?) I'd say it is pretty clear that literal interpretations today are the product of a legacy of ignorance and fanaticism.

For crap's sake, even the Bible itself rejects a literal interpretation of Genesis!

Galatians 4:22-4:24

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by a slave woman and the other by a free woman.
One, the child of the slave, was born according to the flesh; the other, the child of the free woman, was born through the promise.
Now this is an allegory: these women are two covenants. One woman, in fact, is Hagar, from Mount Sinai, bearing children for slavery.

As for talking serpents/dinosaurs/whatever, it ain't on. The reptilian jaw and throat is incapable of any sound beyond a croak, a chirp or a hiss, and in crocodilians, a bellow. Virtually all of the vocalizations they make are done with an echo chamber often involving the lung(s) itself. They have nothing even resembling vocal chords, nor even have room for such an arraignment.
Rubbish!
There are several dinosaur species that are able to speak.

I stand corrected.

How&ever, I don't recall Genesis mentioning parrots & mynahs & ravens other than obliquely in the Noah fandango. And alas, these are no longer reptiles -- evolution has screwed us again.
