Here's an interesting tid-bit on the Homo floresiensis front. There is something of a hypothesis that she might have gone to the dentist at one time or another, which would pretty much date the remains at something later than 1930, CE that is.

is claimed to have a filling--an observation that other
hobbit researchers say is refuted by this photograph.

What will happen next in the soap opera of this unfortunate fossil? Tune in tomorrow when you'll hear a researcher state: "As well as dental work, some of it cosmetic, the hobbit shows evidence of breast implants and collagen treatments!"
