This is just bizarre. For one thing, $5,200 of "reward" money seems to be missing. The first post promises 10 large, but then the second post only mentions $4,800.
What's stranger, though, is all of the "alleged" stuff without a single reference to any of the allegations. Are we supposed to know already where, when and how Shermer allegedly made all of these allegations? Did he even make them, or are they just what the deniers wish that Shermer had alleged? The deniers also allege a bunch of other things without evidence, too.
And the "challenge" is more odd, still, by making Shermer judge of that which the deniers know he already (allegedly) endorses. I'd take publication in Skeptic as Shermer's endorsement, but these guys seem to want a separate, explicit endorsement along with publication. Hey, if Shermer writes the article, can he basically give himself $4,800? |

That many millions were slaughtered by the Nazis, Jews and many others, within and outside of extermination camps, has been known to most educated people in the world as an historical fact for more than 65 years. The honest best estimate of the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust is about 6 million, give or take a million or so. Exact numbers are in hot dispute by honest historians and others, but evidence is such that this number is never going to be reduced to some point where it is insignificant.
Your constant use of comments like "the jews" do this, "the jews" do that, shows your undoubted and repulsive antisemitism. As does your refusal to so much as grant Jews a capital letter.
You also claim that millions of "the jews" are guilty of conspiring to create the most gigantic hoax in history, the Holocaust itself.
So you really have at least two extraordinary claims. Those making extraordinary claims, I should remind you, have the burden of proof upon their heads. Those of us who are sane and are not Nazis or accessories-after-the-fact to genocide have no such burden.
Here's what you must prove:
1. You must provide convincing evidence that the Nazis did not slaughter millions of noncombatant Jews, Gypsies, Poles, Russians, Social Democrats, Freemasons, Communists, homosexuals, handicapped people, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.
2. You must also provide real evidence that there has been and is a huge Jewish conspiracy to create a belief in a non-existent Holocaust.
My suspicion is that we will never hear from you again, and that even if we do, you will not provide the evidence that we require.

Emphasis above mine. HalfMooner, you're trying to make him prove a negative, which he can't. The above demand is skeptically invalid. However, there should be plenty of other angles at which to attack his claims.
